unable to see my contacts??? help me.urgent

guys when i signed in my account i was unable to see my contacts i can see just a block in a list.I need my contacts as soon as possible.
so can anybody help me in this matter i need help its urgent

there is the contacts button on the left side...if you want to write to somebody just try to press a letter from the name or address of that person and gmail will display the whole names and addresses that contain that name.

i do use contacts too it did happen to me before i lost it what i do is i got a flash light and look for it...it will glisten on the contacts if the lights strikes it but if its a clear contact well its really hard to look for it.
