If you felt the earthquake, or knew someone who did, Where were you??The SF Giants were playing the Oakland A's for the world Series Battle of the Bay I live in California and was near San Francisco when a big quake hit in 1986. I was at home with my parents and a friend. When the quake hit I was in the kitchen with my friend and my dad caming running in, scouped us up and ran out the kithen door. It was intense, I was only 6 but can still remember everything about those few minutes and the many days of scary new repots of people hurt, like freeways collapsing and trapping people and the Bay Bridge's (a very well traveled bridge) top deck broke. People has said that if The A's and the Giants were not playing each other in the world series. The SF Bay area would have had more congestion on the streets and more lives would have been lost. So...Where were you?
