they are all depressed! Would have thought that was obvious... also there is another tag for "bipolar disorder" which has more people in it....

Another site that is very active is Beliefnet.com If you go, head to 'forums' 'comfort' then depression support. check in I always stop in and catch up with the folks that are very active writers!
Defore mania showed itself 9 years ago, I was diagnosed with depression and took and still take antidepressants. I was wound up, felt like there was an engine in my chest that would NOT turn off, lost 20 lbs., looked AWFUL!! My dr. put me in pward for 4 days to do a complete med change. Now Depakote ER is my saving med along with anafranil, which is for obsessive/compulsive disorder and Pexeva for depression.
Guess you could say that is my 'mental health cocktail..Made myself chuckle... lol
I really do enjoy meeting and sharing; made a few very good friends that we share alot with each other.
We are selling our house, moving to an apartment. My eldest Andrew, lives in an apt. with his girlfriend, and Allie, will b graduating high school June 1st, then off to college!
very pleased that I am handling this as well as i am, not panicking... just never thought i wouldn.t live in a house even after the kids are grown and on their way, so to speak.

I'd like to participate in bipolar discussion as well. Maybe some people like me are thinking, "I wouldn't want certain people, such as employers, to figure this out about me." Which, I think really *stinks*. But, at least we have usernames and avatars. Yet, someone like me would rather just have my photo up there. I want people to know who they're talking to.
