Appreciation

For an unknown reason, with a particular set of my friends, each time they post about anything introspective, it strikes a cord within me and I begin thinking about aspects of life - self - relationships that I had previously not considered. This benefits me enormously.
It would be awkward to thank these folks for just being themselves and posting about it. So how should I show appreciation for the journeys from the paths upon which they set me?

Perhaps thanking them for sharing and being open and honest would be a good way to say it. Yes, they are just being themselves, but they do not necessarily have to post about it.

you could tell them how great the post was and how significant it was for you. :)
People like it when their posts get appreciated I know I do.
