I had my first 2 children when I was 25 & 26 and my 3rd child when I was 36. There was no difference in how quickly I conceived. My pregnancies were different only because I have back problems and as I get older they get worse, but other than that if you are healthy you should have no problems. Coping with motherhood is different. With my first 2 I had lots of energy and no patience. With my 3rd I have lots of patience and no energy. But that is just me. Everybody is different. In my opinion if you are happy and healthy and want a baby at whatever age... go for it.

I know that the risk of having multiples is higher the older you are. Also the older you are, the higher of a risk your child has of developing different conditions such as down syndrome. So there are more risks the longer you wait to have kids, but plenty of women these days are waiting longer to have kids, and plenty of those women are giving birth to very healthy babies.
