Do you actually believe that peoples power can make a president step down? well it happens in my country twice. And now some people are again attempting it, Its just making our government loose their concentration on how to make the country progressive.

Repeated elections bar economic growth of any country. But when there is mal-administration or tyranny,no economic point of view considerable. With good administration, the economics will rise too.But we should understand if it is befitting to larger humanity without negligence minority.

The governments of the West have become smart and don't let things get that far.
A government's job is to listen to the people and give them what they want. You cannot give them everything they want... because the country simply cannot afford it. You give them just enough to keep them happy... and you make sure that the majority prosper financially.
Most people in the West have possessions that they don't want to lose. So they are very reluctant to start any kind of rebellion.
People only rebel against their government when they have nothing to lose. In a democracy... people have the power. But giving too much power to the people can also quickly turn into anarchy.
This is why many poor countries have dictatorship. It is the only way to keep the people in control... because they are poor with nothing to lose.
