I could be totally wrong but here goes.
Yesterday, I didn't post in any discussions till after 1 am in the morning, I also didn't start any new discussions till then. This morning when I went to check my earnings it said I didn't earn anything. So even though they update at a certain time, for me its about 6 am. I think the cut off for that days is midnight the night before. Tell me your thoughts.

That sounds as though it is about right although I have to admit I haven't REALLY paid that much attention before! I suppose it would take them time to workl out your payment with the special algorythm whatsit and so the cutoff is probably a good few hours before the update! xxx

The only thing I did know is that my earnings are updated around 1pm each day here in the UK, but I never knew what the cut off was, I guess it's the same for every country? I know payout varies from country to country. xxxx

The cut off for me is at 10:15 in the morning. I am also pretty sure it states somewhere on the site that the cut off is midnight. It must be the western united states because I am in easten canada, although I thought that the most time difference was 5 hours. Perhaps I was wrong.

it's weird for me. I can't seem to understand still how do they do it. But I know what time they update earnings here in US/New york time, it's around 9:40-10:00 in the morning. I should know because I get up at 9am to make breakfast for hubby then he'd leave at 9:30 and I'll be on my laptop at 9:35 and see my earnings are still the same as last night, then at about 9:45, it changed.. Im still curious how do they get to managed to pay 120,000+ members of mylot.

that sounds about right. that is why i am always on durning the day. I try to post to as many topics as i can. only because i know when i get home i am not on that much and while i am here at work is my money making time. so thanks for the extra two cents i just made here, i hope

I have to agree with your theory. I have also noticed that if I post after a certain time of the day, it does not reflect in my earnings the way I would expect. I have tried posting minutes before the change over and not seen those postings included in the update. I will see them the next update though.

Yea I knew this, but I am in Europe and when it's 12am there, it's 7am here so I can write all night and still make money for the day that passed.

It seems like there is just so many questions about how MyLots pays that I could reach payout by posting a thousand questions about it. It is almost to the point that we could make a living with a MyLot mystery bureau.

I've always thought that.
There has to be a time span between the cutoff and when the earnings are actually posted, so they can do the calculations.

i also have same experience with you, my dear friend. i think the time of mylot credited our earning getting late of one day in my time. i am not sure what my opinion is true or not. anyway, did you notice there is time to update your earning by mylot? its under your total earning which usually written, "earnings updated xxx hours ago" so by those thing, i think you able to predict how long again mylot would update your earning cause when its already 24 hours, your earning would up date automatically

Hi snow, how are you? I just came back from months of hibernation and still trying to get a feel of this community once again.
As far as I can recall, mylot updated the earnings for Asian countries at around 10PM. I remember doing some self-tests of my own before. Like posting a discussion at a certain time, respond to a no. of discussions and so on and found out the time frame mylot allotted in order to begin calculating our earnings.
