one of my pet peeves is people who are standing in line to cash out and they are on their cellphones yakking away. they hold up the lines and do not pay attention to the cashier or to what they are doing. and then they get mad at the cashier for something that was not there fault. i have had my phone ring while i was in line. i would check the number and then if it was something that could wait i would silence the ringer but if it was important i would apoligize to others in line and step out of line to talk the call. that way i am out of the way and others can get out of the store in a timely manner. what is your pet peeves?

My pet peeve is cell phone addicted people in general - I get upset with them all the time - why come over to my house if your just going to talk on the phone with someone else, is that phone conversation really more important that that red light you just ran, hello - there are 20 people in line behind you would you mind paying for your stuff and moving on....

i agree. what about if you are walking and some dumby on a phone that is driving almost hits you when you have the walk sign and are in a crosswalk and they have a red light
it happened to me the other day and i had my daughter in a stroller going to her doctor appointment. let me tell you i am glad that my daughter did not understand what came out of my mouth when this happened

Oh how frightening for you - yep there are many many times I've seen where cell phones have created a danger for others and am glad they are starting to make stiffer laws about cell phone usage while driving - now if they would or could be enforced for the safety of others.

That is my pet peeve also.. I despise when people are suppose to have their money ready to pay in front of a cashier, and there they are spliting their attention between their cell phone and the person that is attending them. Its rude and a waste of many peoples time.
