When do you do your housework?

I usually do all my weekly house cleaning on Saturday mornings. But this week I didn't do them on Saturday because I went over to my mom's instead and took her to do all her shopping. My mom doesn't drive anymore so I picked her up and took her to the bakery for read, and to Safeway for her weekly food shopping, and to Walmart for her other shopping needs, like laundry soap. So I was gone all day on Saturday and didn't feel like doing my house work when I got home.
So today is Sunday and I did all my housework this morning. This is usually my day for doing nothing but laying around and watching TV or for mylotting, or both. So I have started a little late here in mylot.
So share with us, when do you do all your housework

with three kids and a small duplex, i am doing housework every day of the week. it seems the laundry never goes away and living in a duplex i have to dust at least every other day. it's crazy at times, but that is just the way it goes. as far as like the mopping and cleaning the bathroom and all that, i usually do it on the weekend. i'm to tired during the week to do much of that stuff. thanks for posting and God bless

I do not have a particular day during the week when I do my housework. Sometimes I break it up like on Mondays I might do my bedrooms and kitchen. Then on Tuesday I will do my livingroom and bathroom. Its all according how I feel. If Im feeling really energentic I will do the whole house.LOL

When I stay in my apartment during Saturdays, I clean up but there are times that I just bum the whole day. hehe.. Every Saturday is my only time to do those stuff. Last Saturday I wasn't able to clean up because I visited my parents. Maybe I'll sweep my floor the next Saturday then. hehehe..

Since I moved back home my housework has dropped, I only have my room to clean which I do whenever I feel like it, but it's always clean and tidy, no typical clothes on the floor job. I like it clean and tidy, I help with the gardening and I usually go and do that on a Sunday. I give mum a helping hand but she's very independent and likes to do it her own way and it's a full time job for her looking after the lazy old man!!!

Wow, anytime I can find! Usually for me I do something every day so that tasks don't pile up. I take my son to school at 7 so usually between 7 and 8:30 I do a lot, before I take my daughter to school. Then at night about 8 to 9 I fold clothes or start preparing the meals for the next day. I try to stay a step ahead so that the weekends allow for more free time.

To be the truth,I don't like to do the house work, but with growing up,I must do it.
It devided to two parts:one is after meal cleaning, that is after the meal ,I must do it everyday in the kitchen.
and the room cleaning, just once a week, concluding the washiing, cleaning, and changing something dayly use to a new one.So ,as a womem,we are very busy ,right?

I clean everyday, but im also a stay at home step mother, I do it when i fell like it and only then LOL. I did have a chore list for what chore everyone should do on what day, to make it seem sorta a reward like thing. Well I took that down and im just going to tell them when to do there chores. I do mine when I want to LOL. the house stays very clean though

I am living with parents. My sister goes to school everyday, living me and mother with two nieces at home. I do housework everyday, but not a heavy task since I am not doing alone the housework. Everyone of us has assignment. For instance if I go on doing the laundry, my sister will be the one to prepare food for breakfast and lunch. Whoever wake up late will be the one to fix the bed. So there is assignment for each and everyone of us to do housework. Usually we are done already at around 10am and we can switch TV afterwards or me, I switch on the computer and start doing my online businesses.

I do little bits of housework every day like washing and putting it away and just tidying up and that, but I do my main clean at weekends too, Saturday I do upstairs and sunday I do downstairs, if I am going out anywhere at the weekend then I usually get it all done on the following day.

hi, chrislotz. basically I clean the house every morning (but only a little cleaning), each of us has our own housework task so we are handling the housework together as family members. the full cleaning is on every weekends when everybody is in the house and can help each other to finish the housework quickly.

well, washing the laundry is done once per week. Cleaning of the house is a couple of times a week. Washing of fans once per month.

I try to do all of my in the morning b/c I'm a morning person so I have more energy then. By afternoon all I want to do is slow down. As for days, I don't have a special day to do it. I go through the apartment each day and make the bed, do dishes, clean the bathroom, straighten up, run the vaccumm and take out the trash. That way it never gets really bad.

I don't have the energy to clean my house everyday. I clean houses for a living and so by the time I get home, I am certainly not in the mood to clean my own. But then, it never really gets dirty or messy in the first place. I do my dishes everyday and that makes a big difference in whether the kitchen looks clean or not.
Thanks my friend, for replying to this old discussion. By doing so you have reactivated it and now it is on the top of the list, so others will see it again, too.

Ours never gets really bad either b/c it's just the two of us. No problem about responding to an older discussion, I'm glad you didn't mind. I was cleaning out emails and links and came across several LOL

We have six boys, a dog, and a cat, so housework is definately a daily activity. We do at least four loads of laundry, three loads of dishes, not to mention the sweeping, mopping, and general pick up.

Normally I do house cleaning on weekends especially on Saturday. On Sunday I go to Church for sunday worship and after that spend some time with friends and relatives. During weekdays hardly anyone get time for such chores.
