That was the Title \D plus ick and Jane my how I hated that book and got so tired of seeing Spot Run it made me want to read See Spot Barf lol This does really date me but it was the first book i read in first grade many years ago. My son has a funny song called Kill Elmo and I wish there was one Kill D plus ick and Jane.

When I was a kid, I was addicted to the Three Little Pigs and I made my mom read it to me every bedtime. When I turned 8, I started to get addicted with Nancy Drew novels and The Baby Sitters Club. Then, Sweet Valley High and Sweet Valley University was the next collection I was bagging. Particularly, I got all of these books on sale (because from the very beginning, I am the one who is paying for my own books). :)

Wow....believe it or not that is a hard question to read. I am still trying to remember the first book I read. I think I am going to give the closest book I first remember reading by myself. The first book I remember reading would be Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat Adventure, I believe that is what it is called. I think they made a movie about it recently a few years ago, but I cannot remember exactly when. -Feel Free to Disagree!

The first book I remember are the Richard {MY Lot wouldn't let me use the Nic name for Richard that begins with D, in case you are confused by my response" and Jane series that we used in first grade to learn to read. I saw they have brought them back out as a set at Wally World. The next book I really remember was called "Black Like Me". This book made a profound impact on my life as far as the way I looked at other races. I would recommend it to any parent who is trying to teach their children respect for others.

I dont remeber the early ones, but I do remeber reading a lot of babysitters club. Those were my favorite child series. I read them all. Also, I loved reading all of the full house books that were out at the time also.

The first actual novel that I recall reading was a book called "Interstellar Pig" by William Sleator. I loved it, because of its sci-fi content and the fact that the main character was a teen, such as I was at the time. I love the fantasy aspects and vibrant imagry that was brilliant to my fresh mind.

the very first book I remember reading was See Spot run in the first grade and how I hated that book it was so boring but the first book I remember reading at home was The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew. It was much more interesting than See Spot run. I always read two grade levels above the grade I was in so got bored easily at most of the books we had to read in class.
