I want to find out where the cheapest place to live is in the US. I am disabled, and where I live now, the rent and prices are way more than I can afford. So I am looking to move to another state, but I need some ideas of where to go.

According to Suzie Ormond, the money expert who appears on Oprah frequently and has written a few books, Seattle is the place to go. She is telling people in debt to sell their homes and move to Seattle. I'm in Canada so I can only tell you what I've heard.

Lived once in San Luis Obispo Calif, and liked it there cause of all the bike riding, but was a little on the pricey side. Also was up in Washington looking at the apple orchards. Nice up there. I got a hankering to see Idaho again also.

missouri isnt too bad. Rent about 400-in the lower parts of missouri. House prices range from 40,000 to higher.
