do you put moisturizer before putting make-up?

for me, i have yet to buy a toner as i can't find one of olay brand here yet. but i have to say i do put on moisturizer too. i usually cleanse with olay fresh cleanser, dry my face then put moisturizer. after that, my face feels refreshed, i put on the foundation and eyeliner and that's about all. that is my make up for me. grins i too don't use make up much as i don't really know how to and am also too shy and feel awkward.

the best tried and tested method for a smooth finish is to rub ice all over your face- wipe it off- apply a light moisturizer with sunscreen and then apply make-up. it prevents pores from getting clogged up and the make-up spreads more evenly and it is easier to blend it in. in case you have oily skin, think twice before using a moisturiser or make-up coz you may end up with zits.

Back in Thailand and the Philippines, I didn't have to use them otherwise my face would get too shiny at the end of the day because of the heat. However, now I am in the UK and I find it very significant to use moisturizer on my face even if no make up. I believe in natural beauty but we need to protect our skin from the harmful ultraviolate rays. So putting a moisturizer and make up is for me a shiled against UV rays.

I have oily skin and I still use a moisturizer ( find something that doenst make your skin breakout and stick to it!) since I noticed that this helps my makeup "set" on smoothly..you could use water based moisturizer if you have oily skin..

yep. I also put moisturizer before putting make up. it gives a nice effect on my skin especially when I am sweating.. the make up looks more natural when I do put moisturizer on my face.. and my cheeks (that has blush on it) makes more rosy natural.

We do not care as all of this is time absorbing. Some time I go to my office with out any mask or cream or cosmetic. I simply rub the cream on my palms of two hands and then I gentaly paste that on my face. Making up is art beauty parlors. Ladies like to beautify them with artificial methods, and I am not a lady. I am a male. Male is like a horse which never manage to put the moisturizer before putting making up.

yes i love moisturizers because i can't stand dry skin. i use a mositurizer which is also a sunblock to protect my face then i put just powder and a little blush on to put some color in my face. an eyeliner, lipstick and lipgloss completes my face make-up

Yes, I put moisturizer on after a shower, wait about 15 minutes, and then put on my makeup. :-)

always try to have a clean face before applying makeup as the latter will stay longer and nicer. After cleansing, toning and moisturising, let face set for at least 10-15 minutes. I always use a primer before putting on foundation as this prepares the face for makeup and makes for a uniform canvas. I find this the best way.

When I was younger I didn't wear moisturizer at all. But when I started to get older my skin got drier and I need it on all the time now. I recently got an organic moisturizer called Alba. I really like it.

I actually use a lot of things on my face. In the moring I use my facial wash, then my day cream, then moisterizer and last foundation. At night I use my facial wash, night cream, and moisterizer. 3 minutes in the moring 3 minutes at night just for my skin care. I don't want to age if you can't tell lol. As for make up I only use eye liner and mascarra in less I am doing some thing other then work.

I use a gel cleanser, toner, serum, facial scrub, masque, eye cream and moisturizer every morning and night. Everyone should use skin care to protect your skin from the evironment. 90% of aging is preventable!

I have to say that I am not good at make-up and I seldom makeup myself. But I will use some cream or lotion on my face at first then makeup. I think it's better for the skin.

Hello dear marketing friend. I do not put moisturizer at all, but some moisturing cream in winter, but my wife does every day after she gets up and even before going to bed. She loves to put some moisturizer on her face to keep her face moisturized for a good facial skin. I do not use it though. hehe

I always put toner on then lotion then make up. If I don't do that my make up dries my skin out and it gets flaky.

I personally don't wear face makeup, just a bit of lipstick and mascara but I do moisturise every day. Ellie :D
