Will this make me a better myLotter?

I have been here for a year on and off and I have came back quite recently.
I did have notifications switched on for quite a few members but obviously over time those members have left so this month as part of my goals here I am going to be cleaning up my friends list, making sure I have a few people I like on the list and getting on the worthwhile notifications.
I have a few pages of unresolved discussions that I need to weed through as well which I am not looking forward to but feel it is something I need to do to be fair.
None of this stuff will earn me money directly but that is not what it is all about.
I am going to learn how to get RSS feeds on the go and will hopefully get it working so that I can show my friends activity over at my profile at Yuwie which I will no longer be active in.
In your opinion are these things that make someone a better myLotter or do you think that the better myLotters are just making more money? What things have you been putting off here that really need to be done?

I personally do not use the notification email settings. I find them rather annoying and not to mention, it would just be one more annoying thing to clutter my email inbox with. I come here as often as I can. I do what I have to do, or what I want to do. I think just trying to make a point to come here and try and keep up with what your friends are doing then I think you will do just fine. It's just hard sometimes to come here when we have so many other things to do.

I think that will make you a better mylotter... since you will now choose best responses... and be active again here... so there will be more interaction on your part... mylot is not only about making money... it is about being responsible to tasks that will not generate any amount...
I have been contemplating on cleaning my friends list... but i still think that those who are no longer active will still comeback... more than half in my list haven't logged on for two months now...

To be completely honest, I created my account a year ago, and then I completely stopped mylotting. I just picked up the habit a few days ago, so many of my friends who deleted me have added me again. I think such things that you do makes you a better mylotter because you try to make things right, in my opinion. I have been putting off starting a discussion which I think I need to do. Anytime I plan to start a discussion, I end up not doing it. Oh well, I hope one day I do.

I would except I do not know what to start it on. I do not want to start a discussion on what hundreds of other people have already started a discussion already.

I belive in doing the right thing I dont know if that makes a better mylotter or not. I only open an discusion when I have time to reply to people. I open discusions when I have something that I belive is worth discusing so to me is quality not quantaty (not that my discussions are that good). I choose best responces after 1 weeks after the last person has replied to me. I rate when I belive person deservest to be rated + or -. So that is my way of doing thing here.

Well you are a ten star so you must be a good myLotter. How are you anyway?
Yeah, I think people should only open a discussion if they are going to stick around a while to see what it is being said. That is definately a sign on someone who is here for more than just the money.

I am good thank you for asking. The way I see it is "someone made an effort to respond so I should let them know that their opinion is valued"

I keep my notifications off, except for one friend, and he rarely creates discussions. I too, go through my friends list now and then, and delete people who aren't around much. I'm thinking, every few months is appropriate for that.
I'm glad to see you're back here. I just couldn't get the hang of Yuwie, and only went there to keep in touch with Jimbo and to talk to you more. I'm not sure if I'll delete my account completely.. .I made that mistake here with "QueenKaren". lol.
As for the unresolved discussions, I try to not let them get past the one week mark. I'm lucky if I let them go for more than 4 days actually. lol!
It's great to see you back hon... I look forward to your discussions again. :D

Don't delete your account there!
Go in to payment information and change the minimum to 5 dollars and in a few months or whatever you might get it lol.

Why are you leaving yuwie?
I am glad you are back on here though. I hardly get on yuwie. Maybe once a week if that. I try to get on here all the time. I wasn't very active this week though. I've been really busy on myspace promoting my vacation business.
Anyway, welcome back. I think you are a great friend no matter what.

I was just getting fed up of Yuwie. I was starting to feel like a performing clown.
I did get paid 22 dollars from them the other day though.

Hi claire, I can understand you very well as I, myself, just sort of swing back 3 days ago. I left a lot of unfinished task here at mylot and I will most definitely sort everything out.
I'm still debating whether to delete some on my friend's list. There are many of them who have been gone for so long, way before I took a long vacation. At the moment, I will leave it at that and attend to the most important part of resolving my discussions too.
The way I see it, you are on the right track. We both know that we won't go far if we rely on mylot to help earn a decent amount of money every month.

I don't know about making anyone a better mylotter or making more money but I keep my things on mylot organized b/c it helps me stay on track. I also get more done if I'm not having to hunt for discussions or whatever.
