Texas Voters get to Vote Twice!!

It is true. Texas voters get to vote twice. It is the craziest thing. 65% of texas delegates are decided in the primary which takes place from 7am-7pm on March 4. The remaining 35% are decided in the caucus vote or primary convention which begins promptly at 7:15pm. If there was a massive line of voters at 7pm then your precinct convention will not begin until the last voter votes. Once the convention begins, voters who voted in the primary will begin filling their names on a role call sheet. on this sheet they express who they wish to vote for. at the end of the voting, the sheets are tallied and then the delegates are decided on. It is so cool. If you are texas voter, dont forget your precinct convention.

That is crazy I have heard analysts talking about the Prima-caucus in Texas. I'm surprised they do that, its hard enough to vote once in a day, let alone twice, one being a caucus which I would think would take at least an hour. One good thing I think this favors my candidate Obama over Senator Clinton. Good chance many of Hillary's voters will vote once and then have to take a nap. (j/k)

lol it is funny that you say that but actually Hillary has a very strong support team for the caucus. I am a precinct captain for Hillary in my convention and I already have a team of 50 going to the caucus. that is just in several hours of recruiting. I think Obama's camp may be surprised with the caucus turn out for hillary!

Yeah I think its going to be very close Tuesday. I predict Obama wins slimly in Texas but Sen. Clinton wins slimly in Ohio. I'm a little worried about all the jabbing back and forth. I thought an Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama ticket would be unstoppable in the general election but I'm not so sure its possible anymore.
