The most debated and vastly discused topic is that should Sachin Tendulkar retire from international cricket. I think that he has a lot of cricket left in him and he is still the best batsman in the team. Why should you ask a cricketer to retire just because young cricketers are waiting. Poticians dont retire to give opportunity to young leaders. Even in offices managers and CEOs do not retire just to give opportuniy to young blood. Then why ask cricketers to retire when they are performing well to retire just because they may not play the next World Cup. I think young players should proove themselves and get a place in the team rather than getting it as charity.

I always wanted to encourage some one to start a good discussion like this one.Now coming to the point my answer would be no.When u r in great form and you need to complete a task the whole india is waiting for u cannot retire now. I mean all the indians want sachin to score 50 centuries and 100 half centuries with out fulfilling that task no one want him retire.I would like to see india take the world cup 2011 with sachin as th man of the series.

Its not upto me or u or anybody to take that decision...Sachin is the God of Indian Cricket..greatest cricketer ever...i think hes acheived so much that hes in a position to take that decision for himself, thats not charity but his right, considering wat hes done for his country.

I am firm believer that the time has come for the graceful exit from international cricket.
Why are comparing politics with cricket, Have you ever asked why the onion doesn't taste like garlic.

Personally I believe that if you are good enough to play for your country it doesn't matter what age you are.
Tendulkar is still one of the best batsmen in the world, and I believe he should play on. It depends though on whether he still has the desire to play
