I really interested to take ballroom dance, and i want to learn tango or salsa. I just confuse that the both of them are really nice dances! I need more preferences, at least to make me sure which one is better and easier for the beginner.
Thanks

Since my roots are from Cuba and my wife is from Puerto Rico, I am a bit biased in my choice of dance. I've got quite a few miles under my feet, being born in the late 50's so, from that perspective I have seen dances come and go.
As a young man, I danced with many partners and found that those who were ballroom trained, were slightly choreographed in their moves. Tango, I feel, is less intuitive. Salsa is more improvisational, which allows the whim of the lead to excite and surprise the follow.
Once you have learned the basics in salsa, you can let the music move you.

I consider salsa easier. But you dont have to worry, ballroom classes usually have levels depending on your experience. Both salsa and tango have lessons for begginers, intermediate and pros. good luck!

It all depends which music are you in favor of first. I think you need to start with your preferred beat and rhythm, in that way you will find learning easier and faster.
FYI I started of with salsa and then into others like cha cha, rhumba, jive, tango, quick step, and the waltz.

I know how to do both. I learned them in a dance class at my high school. I find that there are both fairly easy but to me tango was easiest.
