Ask them if you can have some money from them 'cause you've forgot your purse home. This way they maybe would remember the money they took from you.

If you feel shy to ask them for return the money, you better bring them to the same hotel for lunch, and ask them to pay your bill..
Because since, we both can again sit in front of them and work, so, if we ask for a small money may both feel that, something bad in the inside the heart..
So, try this way, which i have mentioned above.
else you can bring them to some of the shops, you select some times, and ask them to pay for the same, (ensure that it should be more than what they have to give you) and the next day you return the money, by deducting the money what they have to pay you..
This is the right time for you to get the money, you bring them to shop, and buy the items what ever you need for your brother and their family..
All the very best.

Well, in effect, they told you to pay and you did. If the person behind the counter wasn't to be making change to all how could you make change to them. You can kiss that money goodbye I think. Be wiser next time and just say, no thanks, pay for your own. I think they are probably laughing at you.

hi subha! so did you get the money your colleagues owed you? i hope you already did.
most of the times i just remind the people of their debts. but its really hard to. its funny but, why does it has to be hard on me? i'm not the one in debt. they are! they should be the one having difficulties in talking to me saying they can't pay me back yet. it also depends on who has borrowed money from me.
for example, my bestfriend. she owes me a lot of money. and she's not taking the initiative to pay me. and i can't really remind her about it if she's always talking about how they are having financial problems at home. .

I would politely ask for the money that they owe and if they still continue to ignore it I would start bringing my lunch and avoiding them for a few days and see if that jogs their memory. If they ask why you brought you lunch tell them you are short money becuase the people who are supposed to have payed you back borrowed money didn't and if they don't get it then and continue to ask question spell it out for them.. Have a nice day hun..

The simple way is that just ask them for money directly. If you think it's hard to say"return the money to me", you can try something like"Could you please give me my money back or do you remember you owe me money?or Did you forget you borrow money from me?"
Otherwise you only can wait for them remember they owe you money,or ask them pay for your lunch.

Just do the same thing back at lunch for the next couple of days. Tell them you have no change and jokingly also mention that 'you guys have to pay me for last time's lunch together'. I'm sure they will get the picture (unless they are avoiding you on purpose).

Hello dear subha. I think that you could also have them have lunch again next time and then it will be their turn to pay for the bill for you without having to ask them for that. Another lunch with them would remind them of the bill that you paid for them as a reminder. So you don't have to even ask them for this. I hope that they are that slow as not to understand what it means to them. Good luck, dear subha.
