Cancer - a Blessing or a Curse?

I was just thinking if cancer was a blessing or a curse. Here's the nature of the disease. 1. It is almost always deadly. only months to live. 2. Symptoms only come in the terminal stage; when its too late to reverse 3. Treatment options make life even worst (the medicine sometimes makes you feel worst than the cancer itself) 4. The cost is mind-boggling With the above situation, one would conclude that its truly a curse. But I dont. I believe its a blessing. Who among us know the exact time we will die? No one. Not until we have cancer. Why? Because the doctor tells us a time-frame of our life. 3 months, 6 months or at most a year. And with this our lives change dramatically. Since we know we are dying in a year; we may be in depression for a while but in the end, we grab the opportunity to spend the best days of our lives; doing the things we never thought possible of doing; in the shortest amount of time. So you be the judge. What do you think, is it a cancer or a curse?
