what should i do at this critical time?

Hi,ladies and gentlemen,i'm a sales man.Before that,I was a R&D engineer on electronic and software.One day,I was tired on technical update everyday.You know,this career is very short and rely on your energy.If you turns old,your competition will become smaller than younger guys.So I dreamed to alter my personal career.To steer clear of the risk comes from the future.Then I found sales position is very hot,every company can't exist without sales sale it's product out.So,I'm in.But I found i can hardly sale something out.I can't achieve my boss's goals almost every month.Now I feel depressed and I doubt if I can save my position in the short run.what should I do?

Hello dear victorjc. Although I am not a salesman, I think that to be a good and quality salesman, one needs to have a very good relationship with his clients and he has to be fond of social life as it will make his business easier and more booming to reach an aim set by either him or his boss. One also needs to know more about the detailed information about the items that he is going to sell or push the sales of. Some emotion investment is also needed in order to enhance and promote his business and such. Like what you said in this discussion, it is more of the youngsters world to do business as they are more energetic and learn things more quickly and they can be adapted to new situation and knowledge more easily. Anyway you are young and it is time for you to do a good business to reach the market goal set by you and your boss. I wish you good luck.

According me achieving a certain goal is not that much easy job that you can perform within one month
so first you should plan to achieve the little part of that goal every month so if you get failiure for first few months its ok after that surely you will get success
be confident on your strength
