Shawn Marion is Unhappy as Expected

Many people saw it coming. Shawn Marion came aboard the Miami Heat roster knowing that this is the team that has struggled with a woeful NBA-worst record all season, that and the experience of playing with the Phoenix Suns, at the time having the best record in the Western Conference. So what would people think would be the effect of transferring from the best team in the better conference to the worst team in the weaker conference? That's right, people thought Marion wouldn't like it.
And that's exactly what has happened. I could not tell how far Marion is from giving up on his teammates, although I can project it to happen sometime in the offseason, but now seems to be the time Marion thinks his teammates should stop giving up on themselves. He was quoted saying, "We've got a national TV game. You're telling me you can't get pumped up and come out with fire? That's frustrating. You've got to dig deeper... Until that happens, it's never going to end."
On the other hand, Dwyane Wade has shown the great spirit that brought them the championship in 2006. He has refused to limit his minutes just because they've accepted that they aren't going to get anywhere near the playoffs and they might be better off getting a good draft pick and a well-rested Wade next season, who has expressed his interest in playing for the national team in the upcoming games in Beijing.
Wade and Marion seems to be up to the challenge of at least pulling this team together and getting more wins to salvage some pride this season. I'm not sure about the rest of the team, including coach Pat Riley. And I don't know how long Wade and Marion can keep on doing what they're doing, because if anything, this acquired losers' mentality can't keep on happening if they want to build up for the future.

i think shawn marion opts out next season. i don't see him staying with the heat. i think heat rebuilds around wade and they will opt to get a strong inside presence which marion can't provide.
heat really went on a tailspin this season but i expect them to be more competitive next year.
