Have you ever felt like giving up on your vision

yes i did, but i realized and thought that maybe this difficult moment is just a trial to overcome and after this i will evolved as a stronger person. difficulty means go for it for it! whether i will succeed or fail i'd still be happier because i have tried and experienced the thrill along the way. i will not have 'what ifs' and regrets in the end.

I have been actively involved in the business development efforts for a new online consultation firm... and after striking it big early on (too early in the game, and far too easily), we are now desperately trying to close another deal so that we can set aside growth capital for future tech requirements (and none of us have been paid in months... living below the poverty line). Most of the work duties are currently falling on my shoulders, and I am buckling (mentally, and physically). I would have given up on this venture a long time ago had it not been for the fact that there are other people whose lives would be adversely impacted- insofar as these individuals have depended on our firm for part or all of their income stream. Sometimes when it is not a good enough reason to do it 'for oneself', one can still make the effort on other colleagues' behalf. I take comfort in these observations because I believe it reflects a healthy pro-social disposition. At other times I feel buoyed by the enthusiasm of others... so really I think the perseverance I have shown would not have been possible in the absence of interested others who are prepared to 'live through it' with you.

Difficult times can't be wished away we just have to get through them and deal with them. As for giving up on visions...lol. I've given up on quite a few after very long fights trying to get what I want.
