Hi valatha, how come the doctor don't give any medical or checking. I don't like that doctor. How come that doctor so sure it is common for some age. Maybe the doctor that you meet is a lazy doctor. My suggestion is You need to see what simtomp happening when the time she suffering for her stomach. Then tell the lazy doctor for their opinion but try to see another doctor also to make a comfirm.

i would make a journal of everything that she eats and then have her tell you when she gets the pain in her stomach. it could be certain things that she is eating or drinking that might be hurting her stomach. and if that does not work then you know that it is not food or drink related. i would also get a new doctor to check out your daughter. do not wait. your daughter's health is important. i hope everything turns out okay. keep me posted

This sounds like a very sensible idea. It may be some sort of food intolerance or even IBS. If you can find certain foods that set it off then you can help her to avoid them.

Thank u verymuch for ur concern n also ur suggestion.Today all tests n scanning were done.Nothing was found. They r expecting some infection n gave her medicines. After knowing reports i also thought of monitoring her diet n observe when she is getting pain.I hope i can find the reason.

Just really to repeat everything being said, get a second opinion 1st and make sure they do thorough testing including bloods (iron etc).
It is most likely a digestive issue and or gastro issue which would be aggrevated by certain foods that she consumes, so record what she eats and drinks and when along with the timing of her pains this should help target the cause and provide the doctor with a thorough background of the issue.
I am no doctor but I am a fitness instructor and do not accept your doctor dismissing this issue saying its common. That in my eyes in just plane lazy!

Regular pain common in an 11 year old?? I don't think so! If she is getting regular stomach pain then there is something seriously wrong. Find another doctor or better, take her to hospital.

What kind of tests did the doctor do to check your daughters stomach? She should not be suffering with pain. I would take her to the hospital and ask them to run some tests on her stomach.

I went through something similar to this a few years ago. My daughter was only 9 at the time. However, her doctor told me that is was because her bowels were backing up. Make sure to also keep note on how many stools your daughter has a day as well. It could be that something she is eating is clogging up her insides. Another suggestion I had was to get a 2nd opinion but a few others have also told you this as well. I definitely would not take the child back to that doctor if they don't seemed concerned with her health.
