I have been throught several periods of having nothing to do on a daily basis, and now im starting to feel that im going crazy. Feels like whatever i try to do, either if its education, get a job or something similar it either doesnt happen or takes a gillion years for it to happen. I finished a welding § metalwork education up in Skara Sweden before the summer break and started to search for jobs, so far ive been to one job interview and ive majbe applied for around 100 jobs. Now this wensday im off to my second job interview, down in a small town kalled Ljungby. I really would want that job, because im in desperate need for something to do. Still i dont feel like im the prime candidate for it, im afraid some f**k with 70 years of education and 100 million years of experience will get it. Ive tried to get help from the employment service, but they dont give two sh*ts about helping me, and they got so many rules that its not worth even trying to find anything they can help me with. The latest time was in a meeting and i requested if it was possible for them to finance a education for me, ye they could but only if someone would want to hire me after the education is over. Ive tried alot of stuff and nothing helps, i feel that soon only two obtions remain and they are either flee from this sh*twad of a country or kill myself. I dont like either of thoose obtions but id rather take the first than the second. I really felt i needed to let of some steam, especially when the people who can help you dont give a f**k and those who do cant really do anything.

I don’t know how you feel, but I can understand. My husband is like you, he has a good job but really has nothing else going on and that bothers him as he feels he has nothing going for him. It is hard to keep him motivated. Looking for a job can be tough, have you thought about looking for work in another city? What about that training? Why would no one hire you if you were trained in a field that was needed in your area?

Thanx for your responce. Id only gotten some basic training in welding § metalwork, but still well enought to start working at a company. I thing some stuff that hindered me is that i neither have a car or a drivers license, some employers want you to have either one or both of them. Also i dont have any experience working as a welder, even if the school i went to was very practical and was almost like a metal workshop. I also guessed that everytime i applied for a job, someone with more experience and education got it. First i tried to look in the area not to far from where i live, then i just said f**k it ill search the entire nation for a job. The employer that im going to for the interview has his company around 10 swedish miles south from where i live. I really hope i get this job, im also planning on applying for a school but that starts after summer break and its a damn long time to wait for something.

I know how hard it can be to wait and even find a job with no way to get there. I am surprised that there are that type of classes for welding. He in the US you have to be certified and take all kind of safety classes. Most of the schools have internships set up so that you are working while you go to school. Keep your head up, I am sure something will come your way soon. It always seems when things are the darkest, they turn around. Good luck with the job.
