How would you like your wake/funeral to be held?

I know its kind of awkward, but everyone keeps talking about how they want their weddings to go or their birthdays to turn out. What about their wake or funeral.
Once I told some of my friends and my mom, I don;t want anyone to wear black when I die, I want them to wear white or green my favorite color. Then I don't want the traditional sad church songs to be sung or played, I want happy songs that talk about heaven or memories, like "My Idea of Heaven" by Leigh Nash, "Mine to Remember" by Waz. I want everything in my wake and funeral be not so sorrowful, but I want them to be happy for me because I have fulfilled my purpose and had the privilege to go and meet my creator first (I hope I go to heaven).
Anyways, if they want to put up a program for me I want them to post all my pictures with friends, including my funny and candid pictures. I love to catch all the unexpected moments in my life.
Oh well, this is different from what you hear from others... Have you thought about your wake/funeral?

to me personally, i think it should be a celebration of the life i lived. i don't know any of the particulars that i would want-maybe happy stories about me, and music that i love playing, but at the same time, i am not so naive as to forget that it is also for the people who are left behind. so i would hope that there would be a blend between what i want, and what my friends and family need to get through.

no one wants to suffer. I always pray at night that if its my time, I would be happy if He'd take me. But I do want to live longer, and I do want to die in my sleep. But before I do, I want to be able to see and talk to my family, at least to let them know that no matter what happens I love them so much.

Since it is real close to mine, what I asked everyone, have a party. Bring some food, get a big stereo to play some music I likes. Jack me up in the casket instead of laying down flat. Party party party, and share stories. Then take my askes and drive thru a park and sprinkle them all over.

Oh yes I absolutely do! This is if of course I have a service. I have consider asking for the family to only have a quite family good bye. But if they do have a service..I would love a service fill with a wondering message about heaven. I would want some wonderful up beat church songs and also some songs that strictly lift up the name of Jesus. I would love for people to leave the service filling inspired and full of joy unspeakable.
