How many times do you start your computer?

I only start it once per day. I do a lot in that one time and there are many people who start it many times a day. How many times do you start your computer?

I start my computer up in the morning and shut it down before I go to bed. The only other time I shut it off is when the internet is being a pain in the butt and I have to unplug the cable and restart the computer.

I generally start my computer once a day as well. But there are exceptions. Power outages for example. With something like that, its a given you will have to start your computer again. I have been told that starting a computer more than once a day can be bad for it. Don't know if that is true.

I only start my desktop once a day. If I am doing presentations and taking my laptop with me, I'll startup/shutdown at each presentation so my battery doesn't die - it doesn't have much of a life left on it.
