I try to eat from all food groups, and avoid using processed food as much as possible. I believe the closer a food is to nature, the more nutritious it is and less likely to be filled with toxic additives. I don't really watch fats too closely, since I don't have a weight problem and my cholesterol is normal. I'm not sure what the recommended amount is. I just believe in everything in moderation.
