Eric bana The Australian actor was recently asked during a interview what was it that annoyed him most.He replied speed cameras. His reasoning is based on his experience as a race car driver. The argument he placed forward was through his experience many in the raceing circle found their performance was hindered when they were contacted by the team control durning a race.Applying this to speed cameras,he considered people concentrate more on their speedo then on the road therfore "hindering" their performance. My husband feels the presence of patrol cars if of greater benefit,I tend to agree as one normally slows down automatically, thus concentration on the road would be enhanced?

I haven't heard of speed cameras but we do have red light cameras at our busiest intersections. In our town, people have to wait so long for the light to turn green that when it does people go and the last cars inline usually keep going after the light turns red cuz they don't want to wait again. I would always stop but one day I was fed up with people still going after they had a red that I decided to keep going too and just my luck it was an intersection with a red light camera. The fine was nearly $400 Now when I approach an intersection I get ready to stop and if it's not going to change I speed up through the intersection to make sure the light don't change on me.
