i am having a combined 18th and 80th birthday party,need some suggestions

my daughter is turning 18 in august and my mum is turning 80 around the same time.i will probably have around 100 people attend the party.have you any catering ideas.i thought of a spit and salads.anyone have any decorating ideas also.any suggestions most welcome.cheers sue

A spit and salads sounds Good... Mybe get some of the geust to bring a plate of something to help....... Decorations- Balloons and some streamers...... A Birthday sign for 18th and a 80th - usually pretty easy to find them (seperate)Center table peices that can be easily made - visit a craft shop for items.... Do a search on the net for pics etc for some ideas....
At least your starting to plan now so as you will have time to organise and not have to leave it at the last minuet and have to rush, then be exhusted....
