Making ice cream with a wire whisk is very hard work. The important thing is not to let ice crystals form so you need to start freezing your ice cream mixture (do not let it freeze too much as you will not be able to whisk at all and even if you do, the ice cream will be inedible) and then at about i5 minute intervals start to whisk. You need to do this quite briskly increasing the whisking intervals to 10 minutes and then 5 minutes as the mixture hardens. Don't bother adding any chunks to the mixture, you won't be able to whisk properly. This will take you some hours and you will ask yourself if the hard work is really worth it. You can buy ice cream makers quite cheaply, less than $40 US. That would be my preferred route. Happy ice cream making.

Well in india we use to make icecream using some icecream powder and a mug of milk. And then store or freeze until it became ready. I really never heard about this new recipe to making the icecream.lol:)
