How do you commute to office?

Hey my friend when I was working I would drive into work with my girlfriend because we worked at the same place. We saved on gas that way. One week I would take my car and the next she would take her car.

i go to work by my company's bus. for there is no bus drive to there.for i work for a nuclear power plant.there don't allow other's bus enter.we enter the plant need a passport.

i go to our office by our office transport, a service vehicle to be exact. it was only the other year that we had a service vehicle. it's really convenient. before i had to take three rides before i can get to our office. i still commute at times when the service vehicle is not available and on a field work with the boss. from our house i would take a tricycle, then ride a bus, and a bus again to get to the office. same thing when going home. ^__^

I wake up in my place of employment. I am a stay-at-home mom. I love that perk. Lately, I often start my 'work day' with the feel of tiny fingers on my face and a soft voice saying "Up please, mommy?" I love my commute.

Hi subha.. It seems that you have eased out of tension.I am happy to see the change. My office is hardly a kilometer away, but still i prefer to go my office in bike.

I have my own car I drive to work. I take my sons to school and there is a neighbor that works a block away that rides with me most of the time. Not like i'm environmetaly friendly or anything, it is just more convienient that way.

Two years ago, I was commuting to my office by car, traversing one of the most businest ring roads of Bangalore, for 26 kms, it would take more than 1.20 minutes, with scores of signals, roads brimming with vehicles and I could see everyday atleast 3 or 4 accidents of all sorts of vehicles. This was when I was a distributed for Hindustan Lever Products. I just have to give it up because of long distance and traffic hazzles that delays distribution work and increases cost. Now I commute by walk 150 metres (front portion facing main road I have the office and behind the office building is my residence. I hardly spend any money on petrol or bus fare. This is business centre which I own and operate.

I was going to work by autorikshaw. But now I took retirement. If it is auto, we can start little late and can finish some more work at home. Bus means, you have to start early.

I generally goto office by cab. It's real hard as there is lot of traffic and hardly any space to move ahead. so, i avoid to use own vehicle.

Well, i am very lucky that the office that i work in is quite near the apartment building where i live... so if it is not to hot... i walk in the morning as a form of simple exercise... but when it is hot or raining... i ride the tricycle... This set up is so good since i am able to use the time suppose to be for travelling to take care of my baby... and there is no need for me to wake up very early in the morning... plus less pollution for me...

Hello dear subha. As I live on campus, I either go to my office on foot or by bike. In winter, I always walk there because it is too cold and windy. In warm spring, I love to walk there because I love to enjoy the warmth from the sun. In summer, I love to go there by bike as it is too hot on the way there. I hate to be sweaty in class. In cool autumn, I love to walk there as well because I would like to enjoy the cool air blowing on my face though sometimes I ride my bike if I do not have enough time to get there, which is the best policy for me. So that is my walking activities from my apartment to my office on campus. lol. Thanks.

hello! i am working at a university which is just 3 kilometers away from home. i take a "tricycle" everyday in going to my office. it is just a 3-5 minutes ride.

I drive a car heading to work. It is actually a necessity since I have to drop of my wife towards her office and my son to his school. The good thing is we have almost the same time heading out in the morning so its saves us the expense. But if assuming that its only me heading for work, then I would have preferred to commute since its much cheaper.

I live in a province near the city and it takes me 1-2 hours bus ride. Actually I take 3 rides to reach our office and back. It consists of a tricycle ride, then a jeepney and then a bus.

as i am a studenti don't go to office but i do go to school by my bike

I went to office on feet before my office moved. Now I drive my own car to work. It is a urgle old car but runs great. Every day it takes my daughter and I to the kindgartern and office every day. It is my baby.
