A new series of Slayers is coming!

It has passed 11 years since the three series of Slayers were aired. Now there will be Slayers TV Anime again! On Dragon magazine they have announced a 4th series coming this fall!
Do you know Slayers? Are you happy?
Even if you don't know it, I advice to watch the new series, it will be awesome.

Has it been 11 years already? Wow! I used to watch this one when I was a kid, and loved it very much. The main character (who had the Tagalog name RINA) is really a very cool one, especially the chant that she says when she's about to use her powers. I also like the blond-haired guy---he made the show extra funny.

Do you mean Gourry? Yes I love him too and from rumors him and Lina will be on the new series for sure. The other main characters are uncertain but I think they will keep all of them.

Woohoo! That sounds awesome, Rowena! I love Slayers, and I would definitely watch more of it if it came out. Now I'm inspired to go back and watch the rest first. :)
It's neat when something you thought was definitely over gets resurrected that way.

I've never seen it before and as you informed me about that new series of Slayers, I will look into it and watch that show. And try to make it as my faves TV program. I'm glad that you like and enjoy that anime series on TV. Have your great and nice watching.

I watched the Slayers when I was 10 or younger. It's so funny! But when I watch it now, it's not a very pleasant experience because the quality of the video is already poor. So I'm a little excited about it. Why are they making a new series now? Do they have the same characters as Lina Inverse, etc.?

"Do they have the same characters as Lina Inverse, etc."Yes, Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev are confirmed, the other are not sure yet"the quality of the video is already poor."I think the first series was very "old" in terms of animation but the next two have a good quality. Just see the image I'm posting.

I don't know anything about Slayers, but I used to read Dragon magazine. The first anime I saw was on TV about 30 years ago. I can't think of the name of the series, but the characters each had their own spaceship that they could combine to make one big ship. I loved that series.
Now, my anime watching is pretty much limited to what my kids are watching, like Yu Gi Oh.

Slayers is the best fantasy comedy ever. Enough said. Any anime of the genre ever got even close to it (well, there's Dragon Half but it's only 2 parts OVA with almost no plot xD). I'm very happy to hear next seres is in the making and I hope Naga will finaly apeart in tv series;)

Latest news say there will be Lina, Gourry, Amelia, Zel and Xelloss, no signs of Naga but she could be added the same. I don't like Naga very much :(
