The cat is curious.
YOUR PARTNER GOT A MAIL. And he/she is not around. You received it. It's in your hand. You are alone.
And the return address is somewhat... interesting, suspicious, doubtful or intriguing.
Curiousity kills the cat.
Will you dare? Are you tempted? Are you a saint? Will you open or not?

I and my husband have agreed to have no secrets from each other. He is free to open my mails and we actually share all the email addresses and he may check my inboxes anytime. So, whenever his credit card bills arrive, I am free to open it even he's not around and all the other types of mails he gets.

This would not be a problem in our house becasue my hubby and I always open the mail. Whoever gets it from the mailbox fiorst opens all of it, pitches the "junk mail" and leaves the rest on the counter. But we've never gotten anything suspicious that I can recall. A couple of wacky charges on a credit card, but he's honest about that so it's not an issue. I know where he lays his head at night.

Depending on how suspicious or interesting it looked then yes I probably would try and open it and reseal it without him knowing. Other than that I would probably tell him when he phoned me and usually he will tell me to open it anyway!

I am doing this, I am opening my husband mails... but I don't think it's nice to read someone's mail like I do... he is always angry to me...

In my family, only the person who the mail is addressed to opens the mail. It's just courtesy to not open someone else's mail.
