I want to talk to others about Jesus, but i have a hard time doing it. Often i feel that its something stopping me from doing it, mostly its fear of saying something dumb. In my church we have practised witnessing to others, but i felt i hasnt helped a bit because we seldom talk about faith or the bible, something that feels wierd.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do, i really want to talk about christ with others, as an answer to the great commision.

If you want to then do it. Although if it isn't someone that doesn't want you to than be careful because they can be agressive... I don't go to church or particulary follow a religion. But I am intrigued to learn more.. I'm not sure what to beleive and don't want to get pushed into anything either, but would listen...
It can be a touchy subject and allot of people have their own views and many don't like to be pushed.. Do what feels right for you... Good Luck

Don't hesitate to do so, don't let yourself hold back from doing it. I use to be that way too, I can't even say the word Christ or God in front of people othen than my churchmates, having that fear that they would reject my initiative to talk to them or being judged that I don't know much about God. But I overcome it by doing it when I get a chance. And I just don't talk outright about it, but you know make friends first. And if I need to talk about Him, I will. It's weird that you guys don't talk about faith or bible at your church, try to suggest a topic about something you interest most or on something you have question about. That will open the conversation about it. Goodluck!

If you really want it, you can do it. Go out on the park and if someone is alone, you can start a talk about anything. In the process, introduce Christ. From the experience, you can do more than that. Keep up and keep on. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation."
