I just had a baby last week and to our surprise it was a boy! We had his nursery all done up in pink and green, all girly clothes the whole 9 yards. The doc said he was 98% shur that he was a she.Well anyways has this ever happened to any of you? what did you do about the cloths and bedding and stuff? What would be the best way to get the most of our money back? (I already washed everything)

I had a private gender scan and it told me I was having a boy at 17 weeks in my pregnancy. I was hinted that my baby was a boy at the National Health Service scan at 2o weeks in my pregnancy. I bought all blue things and he was a boy. H is now 9 months old.
With scans it is easier to see a boy and be 100% sure it is a boy. But mistakes do happen when the person thinks it is a girl but really it is a boy. This sort of thing is very unfortunate. If I was you I would sell the things like pink bedding and baby girl like clothes on E Bay. When my baby son was younger I chatted to a lady and she told me they were convinced they were having a girl but it was a boy. He was dressed in girl's clothing and everyone thought he was a girl until he was 2 months old when his parents bought new boy clothing and told everyone he was a boy. Imagine their surprise. Good luck changing the nursery and selling some of the bedding and clothing as well as getting some replacements.

You gotta be kidding me. I thought that was impossible in this day and age! I would have a garage sale if that were to ever happen to me. I'm 35 weeks and was told we were having a girl at 98 percent certainty. We think about what would happen if that were the case. We, too, have all the girly things like clothes and a pink crib bedding set with pink walls. Oy....

Sometimes we could really say that the 2% possibility works. Yes, i have my friend who've been like that. It's a matter of a miscue during the ultrasound made by your doctor. You said the nursery are all setup for a baby girl and so, you have not choice to replace it all coz your baby is a boy. To get the most of your money is back is to sell all the stuff.

Oh my! fistly congrats! hope its a healthy and happy baby. everthing else is secondary. sorry about all that girly stuff and no girl sometimes its best not to know the of the kid until it arrives or decorate in a neutral color like yellow/green? Anyhow my suggestion would be to have a tag/garage sale when the weather gets nice. Hope your son grows up to be a great and famous person. Good luck and enjoy your baby.
