Mylot take so long to download on my computer

I really don't know if its only me that have observe this but I notice that when I sign in to myLOt and post as well as reply, it really takes time to download. I have compared it with other forums and sites and there is really a big difference. It really takes time. I don't think this is because of my internet connection. Have you experience this or is it just me? If so, what do you think is the reason. I was thinking maybe because there are a lot of myLot users online which is affecting the set up. What do you think?

Mylot on my computer loads in about half a second, maybe a little less. It isn't about how many people are online its to do with your internet service. If it takes a long time and you cant wait that long upgrade your internet. I think its one of the best purchases ive ever made. So it isnt mylot which is taking so long its either your computer or your internet service provider. so dont blame anything on mylot :D

Thank you for the information. I am really confused. I don't think its because of my computer since its very fast and my processor is also great. Likewise my ram is 2G. Well, if its my internet connection, why does the other sites, load in less than a second. Well, I am not an expert on internet and computer thing. I appreciate so much your reply.

I have met that problems before, I think it maybe the network problem. Here in my college, the network may stop many sites, sometimes mylot is also be rejected to visit. so I cannot login here to chat with my friends. But it also has several times, the mylot can not be logged in, seems the mylot is too hot.

Yes I do agree with you. But another thing that I have discovered is that the browser you are using will also affect the dowload. I used to open myLot with Internet explorer, now I am using firefox and sometimes avant. I can see the difference.

its not only in your Rc, but in my pC also it is taking so much time to load. I do not know the reason why. I guess may be when we open mylot.com, the page tries to transfer so much data at a time. so it is slow.

This could also be the reason. Hopefully someone with a good internet background and knowledge could give us an idea.

It could be that there's a lot of people on here or the weather outside, or mylot associates are updating something on here. It's a little slower for me too but I just deal with it. Sorry.

That could probably be the reason. I am not really familiar about how the system goes. Well, we will just have to deal with it and be patient. Don't be sorry.

I had this experience too, I don't think its my connection that gave me problem. My other sites load fast too, I asked this question before and someone said that its because there are alot of mylotter online so its a bit slow. So now I open a few window when I load into mylot.

Well I guess it does matter when the server in myLot is very busy. That could probably be the reason. I noticed that the time does matter to. Usually during evening its slower compared to other time. So most likely the download could be affected by the number of people using myLot. Well, this is just a guess. I could be wrong since I am not a computer or internet expert.
