I just went to the doctor yesterday and my blood pressure is 150/90. I have this pain in my nape and sometimes my entire head. They said i must get a lot of sleep , try to lose some weight and change my eating habits if i do not want to get a maintenance medication. I am just 31 and it will be costly for me if i will start my maintenance this early, so perhaps i must really try to lose weight. Do you have any suggestions on how i can be not hypertensive, ill appreciate hearing from you guys!!!

You learn from grade school the importance of physical exercise. It is not new, you just need to implement it to yourself. At first, you don't feel good, but that's normal. Exercise 3 times a week for two weeks and you can increase your kind of exercise in terms of repetitions, intensity, and time. It will benefit you a lot!

Actually i havent have any exercise for months now and i plan to start doing it again today. Though really at first its too heavy for me to start but i will really try doing it now coz i want to shape up my health again.

YES! cut the amount of food you eat, focus on lean meals with LOTS of water and veggies! Also start walking. If you have issues with eating healthy meals, consider getting on nutrisystem or jenny craig. They will teach you what to eat and how much. Joining a gym could also be the boost you need to exercise. My mom lowered hers by eating more oatmeal and cutting fried and fast foods. Find a plan that works, and stick with it! Your health (and life expectancy) depends on it!
