Need some advice!!!

Hiya, has anyone every had to deal with there child at a young age not wanting to know their father. My daughters father is being a fool at the moment and after 6 yrs of seeing his daughter he now has stopped seeing her with no reason whats so ever. my little girl hasnt seen him for over 10 weeks now and in this time she's asked why his not seen her and ive been honest and told her i dont know (what i dont) she just says okay and thats it. she wont talk about him at all or ask about him now and if i talk to her and ask if she is okay she just says if he cant not be bothered with her she cant either, what i find really sad for a 6 year old saying this. and then she just tells me she doesnt want to talk about him. ((Please bare in mind ive never bad mouth her father to her or said bad things, she's formed her own mind by her self)) I was wondering how anyone else has delt with this?
