Charge you for their cost of damages during national disasters? Our phone company has been charging us $1.90 a month extra since the hurricanes of 2004 to pay for their expenses of hurricane repairs. To me its been 2 years. With the # of customers that this company has multiplied by the amount they are charging each customer I feel they should of have collected enough to cover that cost by now. Enough is enough!

Our electric company raised our rates by 25% to take care of hurricane repairs. Ours went from $330 monthly during peak summer months to over $525 for the last 4 months! We won't talk about the hideous contractor who did about 1/2 the work he was contractually obligated to, took all the money and left us holding the bag. Oh, we even supplied the insulation for the attic area - asked him if he put the insulation in. He did - by throwing the rolls of insulation in the still sealed bags up there! No wonder our bills were so ridiculous!
