Dog Fighting

I absolutely think that dog fighting should be illegal in all countrys. However it is legal in some areas of the world. I am not an animal rights activist, but I do believe that it is inhuman to treat animals in this manner. I wonder who people think they are to treat animals in this manner. I think that if a dog needs to fight to survive that is one thing. But a dog should not be trained to fight and then be used by humans for there entertainment purpoese

i'm really torned at this issue because i'm really a pet lover. as much as i am concerned with deminishing animal cruelty especially to dogs, legalizing dog fights may improve the cases of dogs and can help them to be protected. Asking me why? have you ever heard of UFC, when it started, there were simply no sets of rules that governed that sports, but legalizing this as a sport, safety of competitors and partipants came into the ocassion and hence rules were made. So, going back to the matter at hand, if dog fights are to be legalized, then there is also a chance that certains rules will emerge that will be for the safety of the dogs whose gonna be joining and this slows if not stops the risk of practicing animal cruelty. But legalized or not, i'm really torned at the issue because the mere fact that dogs are still gonna fight and then get hurt or worse yet are to die because of some irresponsible fight-loving owners, it still don't justify it. i just hope that there will be other sports that are dogs can participate to aside from dog fights.

Nope, should be illegal. In my opinion, forcing animals to fight for the gain of entertainment and money is a sin. However, look at our society..we have WWF and boxing!

Of course I dont think dog fighting should be legal! It is a terrible concept and I think it should be illegal everywhere in the world. Not just dog fighting, but any kind of animal fighting, its all the same and its all terrible!

No, absolutely not! Dog fighting is animal cruelty, and should never be allowed anywhere. I hate people that do this, and I feel like there is no punishment harsh enough! These people are low lifes and a waste of air. If they like bloodshed and violence, then they should all get together and kill each other, then when they're all gone, what's left of the world will be a little more peaceful! Harsh, maybe, but the dogs aren't given a choice between this and a good life, and the people can make their own choice whether to fight or not. Just because it's a dog, don't make abuse ok.

Dog fighting is disgusting in my opinion. Any kind of forced animal fighting is degrading and makes us humans worse than barbaric, and something more in the pit of dispicable. I think that dogfighting should stay illegal in the countries it is already illegal in and become illegal in countries that currently allow it.

I think ALL dog fighting should be illegal. That is horrible to let dogs fight for your entertainment or for the purpose of making your dog mean. What kind of person could sit by and watch something like that? I have dogs one which is an American Pit Bull Terrier and I would never do anything like that. He is part of my family. It makes me sick to see this kind of thing happening.
