Becareful when eating apples

How many of you know that the skin of some apples are coated with wax. Check before you eat. Wax is being used as a preservation purposes than cold stored. You be surprise though it will look fresh and last for a year.

Good discussion, blena07. Thanks for providing. Last for a year with wax coating??? huhhhh... Previously, I don't know about the usage of wax as preservative agent to Apple fruit. That was why, I just washed it and straight away put it into fruit juicer and drink the nice juice. I didn't notice for that wax existence, I mean to do checking. New tips I erudite from you for today, so much thank you.

where did you learn that? I know lots of people that grow apples to sell and this is the first time I have heard of this.
