I went out today with the express intention of recycling some cans and bottle. I sorted them into their respective boxes, locked up the house, got into the car and drove to the recycling centre. Once there I parked the car, opened up the boot (trunk) and lo and behold - I'd forgotten the cans and bottles. Do you have these moments too?

I have spent hours searching my house, car, and purse for my sunglasses. They were on top my head the whole time. Keys are another thing too. I've left them in the ignition and driven myself nuts thinking I lost them in a store.
And I'm ONLY 29. can you imagine how bad I'm going to be when I'm 40? :*

I've noticed that quite a few women have sunglasses growing out of their head. Both mine do. Easy place to forget them though. I often look for my glasses and I've got them on. Now, 29? I saw a photo of you the other day and I thought whose that young girl with her older brothers? The caption said they were her sons. Don't believe it.

I too had some moments like this. Three weeks back I went to market to buy some meat. Then I realized I forgot money at home. Thought for a while took some loan from the cab driver, because I know him and he lives in the same lane where we live , paid him back on the return trip.
Such moments do happen some times.

I am thirty-eight years old and I have moments like that all the time. This happens to me when I have a lot of my mind. I will go all the way to the store and then realize I have forgotten my ATM card. Just the other day, I locked myself out of my apartment. As soon as the door was locked, I remembered I did not have my keys, LOL. This mostly happens to me when I have a lot on my mind.

Sadly enough, I've done the sunglasses thing too. But only just a few months ago was the first time! So yay me! LOL!
I was shopping at a local grocery store, and when I first went in, I folded my sunglasses onto the front of my coat. But they kept falling off. So having nowhere else to put them, I decided to have them "grow out of my head" as you said P1kef1sh. lol.
After paying for my groceries, while leaving the store, I reached for my glasses at the front of my coat. Surprise surprise.. but they weren't there! I had a mini panic attack, and started retracing my steps. I didn't get too far before I realized they were on top of my head. But I had already told one of the cashiers what I was looking for at that point. Boy was I embarrassed!!!

Yes, I can imagine that you were. My wife lost an expensive pair that I bought her for her birthday. They were where they always were, on the top of her head. But we had the whole house upside down before any of us looked at her and noticed. Probably says more about us than her actually. She's lost the things for real since then though.

*laughing* Yes!! I can easily enough say I have done things like that before. Quite a few times, I might add. Especially if I am in a rush to go get things done and on a time schedule, or if I have 50 millions things on my mind.

It's happened to me from time to time and its usually with glasses, keys and or something small that I have put in my pocket and have searched the house for it only to find it in my pocket LOL
