Do you answer all of your posts?

I get everyone's responses in my email. I go there and read them all then try to respond to those that need responses. Does everyone here respond to the posters? If you don't respond (it can be time consuming) do you make less money or get bad reviews?

I really try to and in the main I would say I get to at least 95% of them After all, what's the point of putting up discussions if no-one responds. I just think that it is polite. Sometimes though, I will look at one and if they just use either a monosyllabic or short sentence reply I might just pass on by. It also matters how many responses you get. Just one and it is no pain to reply. But when you have 80 odd. That gets wearing. As for the money. I've never really thought about it. I suppose all that time replying makes a big hole in your posting time, which is where you make money. So it must cost something. But I don't let it worry me.

The point of putting up a discussion is to get people to respond so you can read their responses and learn more about them or get an answer you have asked. Most the time I only respond to those that I can relate to. Sometimes I just don't know what to say to all of them so I put a post after the last one for that day and thank them all for responding. I do try to respond to those that seem to want a response but this isn't a chat room is it?

No it's not a chat room, but you can get a dialogue going here. Like we're doing now. For me, it is mostly down to politeness. But I guess that's my problem. I have a healthy group of friend on here though, and we do "chat", sometimes via PMs if we want to say more than might just appear in the posts.

I dont know if you earn less or get bad reviews but if I set a discussion and I get any responces in my emails then I answer them as soon as I can if I can respond. Other than that I try to thank them for responding. But it does take some time up!
