I think so too ^_^
The features are just well accomodating to any gadget oriented individual or even those that aren't.
Movie playing capabilities, Wi-Fi, Music player, photos, aside from the gaming and it can even play other games as long as you have the right softwares ^_^
The ergonomic design of the handheld of the first released version is what I like more compared to the slim version ^_^

Hmmm, I currently don't own one as of now though I have already used one of a friend's. His is the slim version which I really don't fancy much, I really like the first one. In regards to connection with a PSP, it often chokes up, I don't know if its the unit or the connection..
Messenger on PSP? That's new to my ears..

While I do have to admit that I like some of the PSP games much better than the ones for the DS, I also have to say that the PSP is far too delicate. My husband and I drive a truck cross country for a living, and I had one that I carried on the truck with us. I liked the fact that I could use it to watch movies, get online, and play games. However in 6 months time, I had to replace the system 3 different times, and finally went back to a DS system. For some reason the vibrations of riding in the truck seem to be more than the PSP system can stand. I would like to get another one eventually, but they need to make the system a bit stronger first.

I agree with you that psp is the best hand-held console so far. As compared to Nintedo DS lite, PSP is much sleeker, cooler and more stylish and it comes in different colours. It's the features that actully got my kids excited about psp. The games are expeensive to buy, so I usually got my dealer to program them inside, also to avoid the hassle of taking the discs everywhere we go.
