Yeah, I was a bit dissapointed. But then I was dissapointed of Buckingham Palace and the Twin towers!
I guess we have a mental image of places and we idealize them. Most of the time, the real thing is not up to our mental image!

I've just been back to Paris last week and got to see the tower AGAIN!!!
This time it was different though, as I arrived just at the exact time when they switch on the tower's illuminations: thousands of little flickering lights like little stars... the "show" only lasts a couple of minutes but ir is worth waiting for. Very nice.

I've never been. I never really wanted to either. I guess I like Nature more than structures. Give me snorkeling in the ocean with a nurse shark over the leaning tower of Pisa any day!

The closest I've ever been to out of country is a trip to Niagra Falls, Canada. I would love to travel to other countries and see such sites. I dont think I'll ever get to, but I can dream about it.

I was there just one month ago together with my wife. I think it is worth to see one time. Its more a symbol of Paris and France. But there are many more beautiful places to visit in Paris.

I have been there, it was really amazing, but it is so famous that you expect something really special and this goal is hard to meet. We went to Paris in the summer and the long queue at the cash desks, that was unpleasant.
What I liked more was to look at it from the distance, especially at night.
