An israeli researcher has this to say "moses was probably on psychedelic drugs when he heard God deliver the ten commandments on mt sinai".he went on to say that as far as moses on the mount sinai is concerned,it was either supernatural cosmic eventwhich i dont believe,or legend which i dont believe either or (and ) this is very probable event that joined moses and the people of israel under the effects of narcotics.he concluded that moses wa probably on drugs when he saw the burning bush.if you ask me this statement simply show a man who has lost every insight into what is divine and has totally been blinded bya lot of stupid research conclusion that has refused to acknowledge the place of God and it is so unfortunate that such blasphemy is coming from a supposedly learned man and for God"s sake an israelite.Anyway it has been written thata time will come when men will become blasphemous and false teachings will be the order of the day.what do you have to say about such statements?

I would first of all like to say that whether Moses was dopped or not is irrelevant to me. The Ten Commandments save one or two are something that I think almost any man of any religion could understand; thou shalt not kill, though shalt not covet the neighbours wife ... These are the basic principles that even society encourages us to do and where old by the time that Moses walked the Earth. I would also like to say that if he was stoned all the time then he was one accomplished stoner he freed the people of Isreal and led them to the Holy Land (although that being said that might have explained why they got lost). In addition just because that is the sitaution on mount Sinia now in the twenty-first century does not mean it was the case over three thousand years ago. I think that each person should take this in mind and see what it thinks to them but for me the above stated more than explains it!

Does it really matter what some researcher thinks? The whole point of religion is to unite people, and to create a sense of meaning. I personally am not an overly religious person, but I did grow up around the Catholic faith, the details of why apparently things happened the way the did in the bible hold no ground. The message is still the same. The bible isnt meant to be taken literally its a set of guidelines based on religious law on how one should live their life, and get the most out of it, in terms of themselves and others.

I agree with you too many people especially Christians take the spiritaul scriptures to litterally instead of searching there hearts for the true meanings of the passages they have read. As far as the Church uniting people I which it was still so but more and more every day the Church tears people apart with denominational descrimination, hating certain races or other religions I think we need to find our way back to the Purer faith (My self included) and make the world a better place.

good response,you are very right whatever anyone think is irrelevant the most important thing is how are you taking your life and how are you living it is it the way it ought to be if yes improve on it,if not check those things that need to be changed and get on to them,as regards the issue of the church uniting people its funny that denominations are almost teasring men away from unity these days it is necessary for us to find the link to our GOd and not rely on human beings for guidance

ahahahahahaha!now that sfunny but very true many of us ghave even started to question if God exists!but that is one thing i dont even argue about,man will always look for a wy to disprove what they fail to understand thriugh science and technology instead of accepting that some things are beyond science they will come up with funny theories that confuse weak people"s mind
