Car Rentals?

This spring me and my sister plans to take a trip out west. We are looking into renting a car. I looked up prices but its expensive! Was wondering if maybe anyone knew a good CHEAP site to rent from or if by chance they knew were to get discounts or how? Thanks in advance!

this is also a great problem every where and especially in Pakistan the petrol price are increasing and so the rent has become so high that very difficult to rent any car. and here at net i dont know any good site so i am sorry for that.
