I actually like Clapton's first music that he played when he started with John Mayall!
It had more blues in it, and I liked that style more!
I really don't like his newer stuff!
The songs that I like to play by Clapton are; All Your Love, Crossroads,Parchman's Farm,

I don't play any of Eric Clapton's songs. I am not a good guitar player and I prefer to watch him play or somebody else good on the guitar play his songs. Funny, I know a lot of people like Layla but I never even heard it until lately and I don't think it's such a good song at all. I find it pretentious, and Eric Clapton just had fast fingers on the blues guitar but he is not such a great musician. The fact that the inspiration for that song is Patti Smith, George Harrison's wife doesn't help either.

I tried to play guitar but my learning seems not so good... I like the music of Eric Clapton titled Wonderful Tonight. Because it is very smooth played and makes me feel wonderful tonight.
