Are you adding all friend requests at friendster even if you know them NOT?

Hi jeanniemay. I used to add people who are requesting to be my friend in friendster but I had this one user who was my stalker. Such an annoyance that he grabbed some of my pictures and posted to his profile. He added also the friends in my list and commented to them as if it was me. So I immediately made my profile into a private one and deleted him from my list. I contacted the admin of the site and reported such abuse. Well, his profile is now not existing. I am more careful to add people to my list now. Its very annoying to have a copycat profile. I am enjoying that site and I want to protect my friends and my existence in that site.

Yes, if we can sense some trouble. We better do the best thing.
It is admirable of you to have done what must be done!

If someone added me on friendster, and I am not friends with them in real life. I look at their profile first then if I learned that we we're acquainted before then I add them. But if they are not really familiar to me of any sort then I don't add..

Yes, it pays to be cautious. We don't know everyone's intentions.

I have had some that made requests from me back then, not sure why. But I also have friends who added, I know them all personally. I'm not that active anymore on friendster, I don't find any good activity to be there. I just check it once in a while, update my profile and check for comments and/or messages from my contacts.
For sure, I don't easily add people I do not really know their intentions of adding me on their lists.

Of course, reasons or intentions must be very clear when you get their invitation.
I won't add someone who has no personal picture in it and no other information about him/herself.
Thanks for droppin' a note!

well, I only add them when I know them or if they are new, at least I had met them. There is no stranger in my friendster.

We're the same. I view first the profile of the person before adding them.

When I was new, I don't add friends I haven't personally meet. Now that learning from interesting people around the globe excites me, I add those who are sincere and true and who will really display their real photos and no fake ones.
Enjoy your mylot moments too NCgirl! Lovely mylot time!

I do add everybody who invites me in my friendster account, although I tend to hesitate first especially if I don't personally know the person who invites me into their friends list. But then, I just want to make new friends so I just add them. :) Can you be one of friends to? :)

before, I use to add and accept friend request to those people whom I didn't know at all, but then I realize that friendster are for your friends. so I deleted my extended network friends, and remained those my real friends. and I am so pissed and annoyed to those people who are actually grabbing your photos and pretending to be you, so i keep my friendster account private, and if someone wants to add me, they needed first to type my last name.
