There is nothing wrong in falling in love. This is the right age. But you have to be careful not to fall prey to vultures - I mean people who try to cheat gullible persons in guise of loving.
You can choose a person, findout whether that person is trustworthy, lovable, caring and start dating. Go steady. This is the time you can learn loving, dancing, enjoying the best of the world.

I was in love once for about 7 years with a girl I used to work with and I only had lunch with her about 4 times. She liked me as a friend but not as a lover. We never dated or exchanged kisses or anything. I still have feelings for her although only in memory since she has passed away. I'm 57 years old now and I will never regret this. Advice ? Take that real life experience as an example. Love is always worth it. Always.

Love comes in many shapes and sizes. You'll find that you never love two people in exactly the same way. At 18 you are still very young, but you also have some life experience behind you. You will probably fall in and out of love many times before you settle, and that's just the way it should be :)
The "hot" love you may have when you feel that you are in love with someone is all well and good, but the love that lasts a lifetime is often something "softer" and more encompassing. Even within a relationship you will find that your feelings will adjust and change over time. That's part of the wonderful thing about love.
As you grow and learn about love try not to let your emotions completely overrule your brain. You need a lot more than those hot and sexy feelings to keep a relationship going for the long run.
