Coping up with misery/depression...

Hello everyone!
Do you have some ideas on how one can cope up with misery and depression? At least something that you could do to get through the day? You see I was a bit depressed when I woke up this morning and somehow I just can't get this thing off my mind. I used to do it by keeping myself busy at times and refraining from doing some things too...
Here's a list of what I used to do:
- travel
- do household chores
- talk with friends
- find work
- keep yourself busy at work
- play sports
And here's a list of what I refrain from doing:
- listen to music
- watch the tv
- go to a moviehouse
- walk alone
- daydream

Perhaps you could volunteer to help someoneelse sometimes we get involved in something like that and find our depression is gone as we get interested in helping someone else and it does pay dividends too.
